Have a go at embroidery with an expert Royal School of Needlework Tutor! Join us in this family workshop to decorate a pattern with a range of stitches.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Family Stitch Workshop that was due to take place on 16 October is cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvience to those planning on attending.

Stop by the Smith on  20 October, from 11am – 1pm and in the afternoon from 2pm – 4pm to join in the free Family Stitch Workshop.  Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, when spaces become available. All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Recommended age, 7+ years.

This event is in celebration of our current exhibition, Embroidered Excellence: Treasures from the RSN Collection.

The Royal School of Needlework teaches a range of courses for beginners through to advanced.  Classes are taught around the UK, including in their satellite RSN Scotland which is based at Glasgow Arts Club.  Students can also learn either Live Online or from a series of Video Online Courses.  Visit royal-needlework.org.uk to find out more.
