The Smith Art Gallery and Museum will close to the public from March 18 at 1pm, to support the effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Our priority is to protect and support our visitors, staff, and volunteers, and we have been taking proactive precautionary measures in recent weeks. Whilst we are very sad to close, we believe that we must do all that we can to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our community.

On behalf of the staff and trustees of The Smith we look forward to welcoming visitors back to the Museum in the near future.
