Gordon Urquhart is an Architectural Historian with Historic Environment Scotland at the Engine Shed in Stirling. His talk will look back at the so-called “Golden Age” of picture postcards prior to the First World War and will examine what they tell us today about the lives, activities and physical surroundings enjoyed by our forebears a century ago.
